The Esterly Reaper was produced in Whitewater from 1856 to 1891, and served as a bellwether of Whitewater’s gradual transformation from farming center to manufacturing hub to college town. The Reaper Pale Wheat Ale – complex and satisfying like a traditional wheat but with a citrus hop twist – remembers one of the most innovative harvesting implements of the 1800s.
